Primary Grades (K-2)

Internet safety and digital citizenship through Netsmartz

Students will practice their fine and gross motor skills through activities that focus on mouse control and simple keyboarding

2nd graders will begin using Google Classroom (G Suite for Education)

Simple coding activities using Blockly

Robotics Program using Dash and Dot!

Brain’s on iPad activities like Selfie Stations for book reading

Various STEAM activities
 


Intermediate Grades (3-5)

Internet safety and digital citizenship through the Common Sense Media Program

Students will begin to utilize various cloud based programs through G Suite for Education
(Docs, Sheets and Slides)

Coding activities through code.com and MIT’s Scratch program

Robotics program using Dash and Dot AND Ozobots

Brain’s on iPad activities such as - Bloxels (video game creation) and video star

Various STEAM activities

5th grade begins formal typing program in 2nd trimester
 


Junior High (6-8)

Internet safety and digital citizenship through Google’s new program -  Be Internet Awesome

Students will become more skilled in Google Classroom (G Suite for Education) - Google Sketchup

Coding activities through code.com and MIT’s Scratch (may introduce PYTHON if time allows)

Brain’s on iPad activities such as Stop motion animation and video making/editing

Robotics program using Dash and Dot and Ozobots

Various STEAM activities

Typing program continues.  8th graders should be able to type ~35 WPM by graduation
