Ms. Paulo has the following degrees:
Bachelor of Arts – Biology – Saint Anselm College
Master of Education – Life Sciences – Franklin Pierce University
Doctor of Education – Adolescent STEM – Rivier University (In process, expected 2021)
Her own Catholic faith lead her to SHS. Her faith underpins all that she does. She hopes to teach her students to approach science through God, as this is how she learned about the natural world. God’s creation is all around us, we need only to spark our passion for inquiry to start the journey of discovery.
Ms. Paulo is extremely passionate about conservation science and adolescent development. The focus of her doctoral research stems from the idea that academic achievement improves as adolescents are encouraged to make authentic connections to nature. She enjoys both field research and producing publications on this topic. She also loves reading, writing, cartooning, snowboarding and hiking (I am working on the NH 48!). When Ms. Paulo is not in the classroom, she is outside enjoying all that nature has to offer!
