Wellness Column

We are excited to have started a Wellness Committee at SHS and let me once again remind you of our mission; “…to enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of the SH community through wellness education and best practices.”

Our goal is to empower our students, families and staff with information and tips on how to get healthier and stronger from the inside-out and in that way enhance lives and strengthen our community.

Each week there will be a health tip for you to put into practice and a discussion around a concept related to health and wellness. Our goal is not to overwhelm you but equip you with knowledge and to inspire you to take ACTION and implement something that will serve you and your loved ones well.

Health and wellness is one of our most precious commodities and it requires, daily participation. If we are not actively seeking it, the breakdown of our body can easily exceed the repair and loss of health ensues.
