SHS Thanksgiving Food Drive

Helping neighbors in need

UPDATE:

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Because of your generosity, we exceeded last year by filling 16 complete baskets of food!
We are unable to accept any donations on Monday due to the delivery time.

We will also be donating ALOT of food to St. Vincent dePaul Food Pantry.
Any last minute donations will be sent there to help out more local neighbors.

Thank you for helping our neighbors in need!

This is a local service opportunity that we are introducing during the NH Catholic Schools Week.
Our generous SHS community donated 14 baskets to this program last year (which feeds 150+ local families), as well as extra food to St. Vincent dePaul food pantry.

The "The EHS MarthaLaPerle Outreach Program" first began as the "CMS Outreach Program" which was created by Martha Laperle and Linda Raye, who started the program out of the nursing office at the Cooperative Middle School. It has been a wonderful Outreach Program serving students and their families in the SAU 16 District since 2002. Due to Martha's illness, the program is now run out of the Exeter High School Nursing Office. Funds from the Outreach Program have helped students with many needs such as clothing, food, athletic supplies, taxi vouchers to get to medical appointments, gift cards for glasses, and help with oil during the winter months. Every year neighborhoods, churches, businesses, restaurants, classrooms, offices, brownie and boy scout troops, book clubs, and families donate individual baskets and/or gift certificates. This year our goal is for each family to receive a Holiday Basket in November. In December each family will receive an envelope of gift cards to help with their holiday meal, food, clothing , and gas needs over the holidays.
