Heart of Giving Fund

We are excited to introduce a new initiative - the SHS Heart of Giving Fund! 

In lieu of our annual Spring Fling Auction for the 2024-25 school year, we humbly ask that you consider a meaningful end-of-year, tax-deductible donation to SHS via check or through this link: SHS Heart of Giving Fund.

Together we can achieve our fundraising goal while incorporating fun incentives (see below) that embodies the spirit of our Sacred Heart School community!

While we recognize the challenge of this approach and that this is a change to our long-standing, largest fundraiser of the year, we are also aware of the importance of bringing our community together. With that said, we hope to have a smaller event on April 12, 2025, with details to follow in the new year including information about this year’s Fund-a-Need. The reason for the change this year is because of high overhead costs for large events at this time (even when hosted on-site in our gym) and to eliminate the time-consuming requests on our families that an event of this size requires. Our hope through this year’s format is to meet our budgetary goal of $50,000 and allow us time to reimagine future fundraising events here at SHS. We appreciate your understanding and support of this new initiative that is vital to the continued financial stability of SHS.

As you consider donating, please know that we are committed to being the prudent caretakers of every dollar we receive. Determined on an annual basis, tuition represents a portion of the total cost to educate each student. We do not receive financial support from the Diocese, so we solely rely on fundraisers and donations to support our operating budget.
 
Our community has many things to be grateful for! Our dedicated faculty and staff, steady enrollment, and a strong observance of our mission.  Please join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of our students and the broader community, so we can continue to foster a place where young hearts are inspired to learn, serve, and lead. Thank you for being an essential part of the Sacred Heart School family and supporting this school, which means so much to all of us. More importantly, your donation is not just an investment in our school, but in the difference that a Catholic education makes for our students and the positive impact that it has on them for the rest of their lives.

Does Your Place of Employment Match Donations? 

Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. When an employee donates, they can request a matching gift from their employer. The employer then makes their own donation to the nonprofit. Reach out to Gia LaMontagne (glamontagne@shshampton.org) for any necessary paperwork.
 

Interested in Sponsoring a Matching Donation?

We are looking for sponsors who would be willing to match community donations. For example, your family or company could pledge to match every dollar donated up to a certain amount over a pre-determined period of time. This incentivizes supporters to make gifts during that time, as their donations will have a greater impact.
