Señora Curry was born in Miami, Fl and moved to NH during her freshman year in High School. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University. After raising four children, she obtained her NH Spanish Certification and has taught Spanish to Grade Pre-K — Grade 8.
Mrs. Curry is an advocate for Catholic Education. Both her and her husband attended Catholic Schools for twelve years as did her four children. Teaching Spanish in a Catholic School affords her the opportunity to explore, with her students, the Hispanic cultures rich in Catholic tradition. She impresses upon her students the necessity of learning a second language, not only to get into college, but also to open wide the doors to numerous opportunities in the future. When not teaching, Mrs. Curry loves traveling, fishing and gardening.
