New Families | Getting Started at SHS

Welcome to Sacred Heart as a newly enrolled family!

This page was designed just for you so that you are ready for your first day at school.

Please use the list below as a checklist before starting school:



Please save the evening of Thursday, August 25th to attend our New Family Orientation and Back to School Night.

PreK Orientation:
10:00-11:00am | Please arrive at the PreK entrance near the flag pole. Parents will spend this time with their child as they acclimate to the classroom and meet the teachers. This is a great time to drop off classroom supplies!

New Family Orientation K-8:
K-5 Parents and students in Gym | 4:30 - 5:30
JH Students Upstairs | 4:30 - 5:30
This is a great time to drop off classroom supplies!

Returning Families | Back to School Night:
5:30-6:15pm | Drop off classroom supplies in your classroom. 

All Families | Back to School Night Cookout:
5:30-7:00pm | Join us outside for food and community!

All are welcome to “shop” for uniforms in the gym and be sure to pick up your Dismissal Signs!

Tours can be given M-TH 9am-1pm. We look forward to meeting all of our new families!

This is important so that your child's records will follow them to Sacred Heart.

This is different from the COPY of School Records Form you filled out during the Admission process.

Your Tuition Contract will be emailed to you. If you have not received it, please contact Cheryl Grella at or call 603.926.3254.

Monthly payments plans are offered through FACTS Tuition Management.

Uniforms can easily be ordered from Lands' End Uniforms or Donnelly's Clothing.
Be sure to sign-up for Lands' End email coupons!
You are also welcome to visit our Uniform Closet in the gym for gently-used free items.
This closet is open during school hours (including summer hours M-TH 9am-1pm).

Donnelly's Clothing

All families are asked to fill out the forms listed below before the beginning of each new school year.
A copy of your student's latest physical is also needed.

If you are entering during the school year, please fill them out and return before your first day of school.

Start of Year Forms-Must be updated yearly:
Student Information Form
Student Health Information Form
Over-the-Counter Medication Form
Physician Medication Administration Form
Acceptable Use Policy
Extended Care Permission Form

The first menu will be open for ordering on:

Menu ordering will close:
Sunday, August 28th (midnight)

Our lunch program will begin on the first day of school.

Your Parents Web Account will allow you access to Student Information including grades, homework, lesson plans etc. It also includes access to the School Directory.

This is a valuable tool for the Jr. High classes especially.

Doors open - 8:00am 
School begins - 8:10am
If your student arrives after 8:10am they will need to check in with Attendence (the Health Office) before going to class.
If your student will be absent, please call the Front Office and leave a message with the Health Office and email the teacher for any work that might be missed.

Final dismissal - 2:55pm - 3:10pm

All students being dismissed early must be signed out at the Front Office before leaving.
Please send a note/email to your child's teacher if they will be picked up early.

If you have a last minute change to your student's regular dismissal, please call the Front Office.

After Care ends at 5:30pm

This is an option for students who live close enough to be dismissed through the front door and walk home.
Please contact the front office ( with an email giving this permission throughout the year.

Check your email every Thursday for important up-to-date information that is happening at SHS as well as upcoming events and alerts. This helps us to keep emails to a minimum.
