Mrs. Cyr has been active in the ECE field for the past 15 years in a variety of different roles, including Lead teaching in Toddler/Prek classrooms & working as an elementary school paraprofessional. She has been fortunate to be part of the Prek team at SHS since 2016! She is passionate about play-based & sensory-rich early learning experiences, children’s literature, and growing partnerships between home & school environments.
Mrs. Cyr loves working at SHS because of its strong sense of community, as well as the school’s emphasis on the “whole” child & working hard to meet each child’s individual needs. She especially loves the Buddy Program and our other events that foster togetherness among students & staff.
Mrs. Cyr lives on the coast with her husband, 11-year old daughter, their dog, Miss Remi and a lovable little backyard flock of chickens & ducks! Outside the classroom, her hobbies include running, surfing, beach days, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
